This course explores the latest updates to the lighting and lighting controls requirements defined by the ANSI/ASHRAE/IES Standard 90.1-2019, Energy Standard for Buildings Except Low-Rise Residential Buildings. The changes include modified lighting power allowances, mandatory commissioning, new rules for modeling lighting systems, and updates to the requirements for side-lighting, daylight-responsive controls and lighting controls in parking garages.
