In your first case study, the town is Champaign, not Champagne
Based on the course, I thought decibel perception was for every ten, it is perceived as twice as loud, so for question 6, would the tone of B be 10 dBa less than A?

I believe that the answer to question 6 is incorrect. If A is louder than B, B will have less decibels. The correct answer is A not C.

question 8 "pizza" looked like a typo for "piazza". Maybe choose a different example. Why couldn't the wall open up for pizza and piazzas both??
